Blended of 50% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 20% Mourvedre, the 2014 Elusive has a medium garnet-purple color and offers scents of black raspberries, baked cherries and mulberries with hints of cracked black pepper, dried herbs and marmite toast. The medium to full-bodied palate has plenty of primary, pure red and black berry flavors on offer with a spicy undercurrent and firm backbone, finishing long and chewy.
