The deep, inky and violet-tinged 2014 Mays' Discovery Vineyard checks in as a rare single variety from this estate and is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from a terrific vineyard in the Horse Heaven Hills AVA. Notes of violets, cassis, crushed rocks, dark chocolate and licorice all emerge from this tight, backwards, fresh and focused beauty, and it's one of the few 2014s from Chris that's going to benefit from short term cellaring.
