Tasting NotesWine Spectator: 92 Points
This rich white is balanced by fresh acidity, which defines its flavors of apple, lemon cake, butterscotch and nut oil. An intense version, this lingers with an aftertaste of spice and graphite. Best from 2015 through 2023. 50 cases imported.
Antonio Galloni: 91 Points
The 2011 Chassagne-Montrachet Morgeot is one of the most closed and reticent wines in this range from Bruno Colin. Saline infused mineral notes provide the framework for the 2011 as it opens up in the glass. Today the 2011 doesn't seem ready to show the full breadth of its potential. The style is a bit burly and muscular. It will be interesting to see how things develop here.
