Loaded with both red and black currant fruit, dried flowers, damp earth and hints of meatiness, it can be consumed anytime over the coming 10-12 years. Winemaker Anna Shafer continues to produce elegant, classically styled wines from her 13-acre estate vineyard located on the eastern edge – which is slightly higher in elevation and gets additional moisture – of Walla Walla.
