The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Hommage Artist Series Reserve comes close to delivering the goods. Its dense ruby/purple color is followed by attractive aromas of cassis, spring flowers and nicely concealed wood. Medium to full-bodied with tannins to be resolved, it cuts a nice swath across the palate and has more to it than the Napa cuvee. Give it 1-2 years of cellaring, and drink it over the following 10-15.
