Tasting NotesWine Spectator: 93 Points
Juicy, with plum and blackberry notes that meld nicely with hints of sassafras and bay. Lightly brambly along the edges, with a nice tug of earth through the middle, leaving a loamy echo amidst the fruit and savory notes on the finish. Best from 2021 through 2031. 4,032 cases made. — JM

The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon John C. Sullenger Vineyard is produced from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and was aged for 18 months in French oak, 50% new. It has a medium to deep garnet-purple color, delivering vivacious scents of black raspberries, mulberries and warm red and black currants plus hints of spice cake, bouquet garni and unsmoked cigars. Medium to full-bodied, the palate delivers juicy black fruits with a spicy undercurrent and soft tannins, finishing on a lingering cinnamon stick note.
