Reduction. There is outstanding richness to the beautifully textured, powerful, concentrated and energetic large-scaled flavors that terminate in a driving and explosively long finish where a touch of wood surfaces. This is a big but not inelegant Mazis with a subtle minerality that adds a touch of refinement to the very firm palate impression. Patience required yet this will be approachable young sooner than the Latricières. (Burghound)
