Tasting NotesAntonio Galloni: 92 Points
The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Lyndenhurst is sexy, radiant and delicious, with plenty of the typical Spottswoode red and bluish stone fruit and spices. Creamy, layered and deeply expressive, the Lyndenhurst is a terrific choice for drinking over the next few years. This is pure class through and through. The Lyndenhurst is made mostly from estate fruit.
James Suckling: 95 Points
Tasting note: Loads of wet earth, autumn leaves, charcoal and black currants. Full body, firm tannins, gorgeous fruit and spice. Beautiful tannin and acid tension to this wine with a solid core of fruit to balance it. Better in 2019. 96% cabernet sauvignon, 2% malbec and 2% cabernet franc. Out September 1, 2015. (29-Jul-2015) James Suckling
