Tasting NotesRobert Parker: 91 Points
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon gives up earthy notes of charcoal, damp earth and wild fungi over a cassis and Black Forest cake core, plus a touch of dried herbs. The medium to full-bodied palate is packed with black fruits, supported by a grainy texture and finishing fruity. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown
Wine Enthusiast: 95 Points
This is a blockbuster of a wine, especially at the price, opening with a violet aroma on the nose and a moderately grippy texture on the palate. Beautiful black- and red-cherry, currant and baking-spice elements combine around a core of classic elegance and length, finishing on a cigar box accent. The fruit is from four estate sites. Consider buying caseloads.

The appellation 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley would be a great buy for those looking for a terrific value in classic, impeccably made, age-worthy Cabernet under $100. Deep purple, with oustanding notes of blackcurrants, cedarwood, graphite, and leafy herbs, this medium-bodied, elegant 2018 has plenty of mid-palate depth, ripe, polished tannins, and a great finish. It's going to deliver loads of pleasure over the coming 15 years.
James Suckling: 92 Points
A sold and structured cabernet with blackberries, blueberries, currants and some walnuts. Full-bodied with firm, fine tannins and a long finish. Very attractive now, but it will age nicely.
