Tasting NotesJeb Dunnuck: 94 Points
(94 points) Always a kitchen sink blend, the 2017 Todos checks in as 44% Syrah, 22% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Petite Sirah, and the rest Petit Verdot, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. It's always a smoking value, and while I wasn't able to get a suggested retail price, I don't expect that to change. Certainly, the quality is top-notch. Blackberries, smoked plums, graphite, ground pepper, and crushed rock-like minerality all emerge from this beautifully balanced, elegant, yet concentrated and fleshy red that has the class, as well as the structure, to keep for over a decade. It should be even better this time next year.
Antonio Galloni: 93 Points
"Superb, especially considering it is Jonata's entry-level wine. Jonata always presents Todos in the middle of their range, and yet the wine never really suffers in any comparison next to its siblings, and that might be the single most meaningful thing I can say about it. In 2017, Todos is beautifully perfumed and silky, with lovely red fruit character that comes through nicely. Floral accents add brightness."
