This is the best of the best every vintage from this pioneering winery! The 2007 Elizabeth’s Reserve Pinot noir is a blend from eight vineyard sites. Those include - Bryan Creek (26%), Love (24%), Boulder Bluff (18%), Winderlea (9%), Calkins Lane (9%), Quarter Mile Lane (8%), Anna Louise (5%) and Temperance Hill (1%).This complex and intriguing wine offers layered aromas of red raspberries, fresh Oregon strawberries, rose petals and cedar. Its aromas are reflected on a palate that speaks of purity and elegance, and is exceptionally balanced with firm tannins and a persistent finish. This wine will pair beautifully with the Pinot noir classics - lamb, duck, grilled salmon, and aged cheeses.” Dave Paige, Winemaker

The 2007 Pinot Noir Elizabeth’s Reserve offers up a fragrant bouquet of smoke, mineral, bright cherry, and raspberry. Medium-bodied, on the palate it is soft, flavorful, and moderate in length. Drink this friendly effort over the next 6 years.
Under the more challenging conditions presented by the 2007 vintage, Adelsheim Vineyards did not quite perform to the level they achieved in 2006. Nevertheless, this is a solid collection of wines.
