Hints of lanolin, resin, and spice from the barrel nicely complement the wine’s roasted and almost honeyed richness. This is a great example of the amplitude and generosity that in 2006 is perfectly compatible with carnal characteristics and other mysterious aspects peculiar to Chablis.
