Despite the deep color, this is fresh and terroir-driven. Just a hint of oxidation in the aroma, but the palate offers concentrated lemon, hazelnut and mineral flavors shaded by oak spice. The long, smoky finish indicates what's in store in a few years. Best from 2007 through 2012. 50 cases imported.
