A fresh garnet in tonality, intensely spicy and sweet on the nose, it is solid but round on the palate, structured but velvety and polished, warm and enveloping on the lengthy, elegant close. Drink: 2005-2016. Marco Mantengoli operates in the same part of Montalcino as Giulio Salvioni and Diego Molinari and his wines show the same combination of force and finesse as these major personalities of the zone.
