The 2007 Amarone della Valpolicella I Saltari Le Vigne di Turano has aged nicely so far and is showing budding tertiary tones of licorice, crushed granite, fired cherry and cured meat. There's a lightly exotic element to the wine with teriyaki and Indian curry leaf at the back. Smooth tannins give way to a round and supple mouthfeel.
