Wine Spectator: 94 Points
Has lots of berry, coffee and spice character, with hints of black licorice. Full-bodied, with rich, chewy tannins and loads of chocolate, coffee and berry character. Lasts for minutes on the palate. Big and broad-shouldered. This is the best Siepi since its first vintage. Sangiovese and Merlot. Best after 2008. 2,500 cases made.
