Wine Advocate # 186 Dec 2009 Robert Parker 95 Drink: 2009 - 2039 $85-$90 (85) The prodigious 2007 Solo has a saturated dense purple color to the rim, a wonderfully sweet nose of blue and black fruits intermixed with charcoal, incense, floral notes, a hint of espresso, and subtle wood. It is fabulously rich and full-bodied, yet at the same time, the elegance is very apparent, and the wine well-focused and pure. This is a brilliant wine, the best Cabernet Sauvignon I have ever tasted from Silverado. It should evolve for 25-30 or more years. This is a strong group of wines from Silverado, and certainly a great deal of credit must go to winemaker Jonathan Emmerich.
