The 2007 Rosso di Montalcino is a soft, caressing wine with attractive floral red fruits and sweet spices on a medium-bodied frame. The wine reveals plenty of depth at this level and is an excellent choice for near-term drinking. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2012.
Poggio Antico is one of Montalcino's most consistent producers. The wines are made in a rich, fruit-driven style.
